We are thrilled to announce that our teammate John Sickinger will be promoted to Director of Employee Development and will begin reporting directly to our Group President & CEO Sam Thevanayagam.
John is a graduate of LaSalle University and has worked at DeVal for over 35 years. His past responsibilities have included those of Internal Auditor, Staff Accountant, Accounting Manager, and Controller. In addition, John has many years of experience in managing employee benefits and overall employee relations, and as such is well acquainted with all facets of our business and every member of our team here at DeVal.
John’s new responsibilities will include developing and overseeing the leadership training of our first level supervisors and the technical and on-job training of our growing manufacturing team.
Our Group President and CEO Sam Thevanayagam’s leadership model aims “to create an environment where others can achieve their God given potential”, and John will play an integral part in executing that vision!
