DeVal Lifecycle Support has achieved Nadcap accreditation for NonDestructive Testing (NDT) at its Tulip Street facility in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The accreditation confirms DeVal’s continued conformance to Nadcap audit criteria for aerospace NDT and recognizes the facility’s ability to perform accredited inspection processes listed on the Qualified Manufacturers List (QML).
For aerospace and defense customers, Nadcap accreditation provides added confidence that critical inspection processes are controlled, documented, and evaluated against industry-managed requirements. The QML also gives procurement and quality personnel a searchable resource to identify accredited suppliers with demonstrated quality assurance proficiency.

DeVal’s current Nadcap scope includes accreditation under the applicable Nadcap audit criteria for NonDestructive Testing, including:
Magnetic Particle Testing
Used to detect surface and near-surface discontinuities in ferromagnetic materials, supporting inspection of critical components, weldments, machined parts, and support equipment structures.
Penetrant Testing
Used to identify surface-breaking defects in applicable materials, supporting quality verification for parts, assemblies, and manufacturing processes where surface integrity is mission-critical.
These inspection methods allow DeVal to evaluate material and component integrity without damaging the part, supporting quality, safety, and readiness across aerospace and defense applications.
DeVal’s NDT accreditation is part of a broader quality system built around disciplined process control, inspection readiness, and customer compliance. Nadcap accreditation requires successful completion of the PRI evaluation process and conformance to defined audit criteria, including facility-level survey requirements for penetrant and magnetic particle inspection.
